Alicia Keys attended the We Are Together Premiere at the Director's Guild of America in New York City on Thursday (June 12th).
The topic of children came up, the singer said "I've always loved kids. Kids are so important. It's important to nurture and spend time with them and listen to them."
Speaking on if she would adopt children from around the world she said "We are all one. We're not as separate as we oftentimes think. So I possibly would (adopt), when I'm more in the motherhood stage of my life."
We Are Together tells the story of 12 year old Slindile and her friends at the Agape orphanage in South Africa, the documentary was filmed over three years.
