Mel B Replacing Sharon Osbourne On X Factor

On top of working on her new album and possibly going on tour with Janet Jackson, it seems like Melanie Brown could have another gig coming up.

American Idol judge Simon Cowell wants Mel B to replace Sharon Osbourne on The X Factor, the show which launched Leona Lewis in the UK. Sharon quit the show over money arguments - she wanted more but they wouldn't give it ot her.

The preassure is on for them to find a new judge, the show is to beging shooting auditions on Thursday (June 12th). Do you think Mel B would be a good replacement for wild mouth Osbourne?

The X-Factor is set to air on British channel ITV later in the year.

Mel B Gives Builders A Show

Melanie Brown was seen leaving Heart FM studios in June on Friday (June 6th), Mel stopped to take pictures with fans, all the while giving some builders an eye full as she walked past them.

Mel is currently working on her 3rd album, she is quoted as saying "It's an R&B-pop kind of thing, a cross between early Pink and Destiny's Child. Urban pop. That's what I do best, where I come from, what people know me for, I've recorded four songs so far with some really great people."

She has also confirmed that she will be opening up for Janet Jackson on her tour, speaking to GMTV she said "Yep, well I’m 10 songs into my album and she worked with me on one of the tracks. I’m also doing a tour of America with her in September, which I can’t wait for. She’s a great lady."

Mel B Has Cleavage

Scary Spice Mel B is in the UK promoting Ultimo bras today (June 4th), the singer was photographed in Debenhams at Oxford St, London's. The singer was presented with a birthday cake, she turned 33 last Thursday (May 29th) .

Mel is doing 3 cities in one day to promote the bras, she is showing up to Debenhams in London, Liverpool and Glasgow.
