Eva Mendes Loves The Gym

Eva Mendes was photographed going to the gym with a friend on Monday (June 9th), the new poster for Eva's movie The Spirit was released over the weekend and can be seen here.

Eva is probably working out a lot so she can look good for the premiere of The Spirit and her other new movie The Women.

The actress is also due to start shooting her new movie Queen Of The South in both Mexico and Spain very soon. In the movie she plays, Teresa, who flees to Spain after her boyfriend is murdered in Mexico, once in her new home she looks to become the country's reigning drug smuggler and to avenge her lover's murder.

Does Eva Mendes Look Like A Good Girl?

A new poster for the movie, The Spirit has been released, "Do I Look Like A Good Girl" is written on the face of Eva Mendes. The Spirit which is released on December 25th is based on the comic book written by Will Eisner.

The movie which was written and directed by Frank Miller, is about a man named Danny Colt/The Spirit who returns to life to fight crime in Central City from the shadows, but The Octopus has other ideas .. he wants to kill the whole city.

Gabriel Macht plays Danny Colt/The Spirit, Samuel L. Jackson plays The Octopus. The movie also stars Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes.

Eva Mendes Has Secret Obsession

Eva Mendes looked stunning in her Calvin Klein dress as she was photographed leaving a NYC hotel, Thursday (June 5th). The actress was the celebrity hostess for a party celebrating the launch of Calvin Klein's new fragrance, Secret Obsessions. According to New York magazine, the party was canceled because the building's proprietor didn't have the proper permits to throw a party in the residential building. The party was moved to nightclub Barolo.

Eva's Calvin Klein commercial too risqué

Eva Mendes stops at a gas station in Los Feliz, LA, Friday (May 23rd). Eva's Calvin Klein's commercials for the new fragrance "Secret Obsession" is making tv execs uncomfortable. They say the TV spots are too risqué and won't air them unless they make them more G-rated.

"It really taps into the secrecy of a private moment — where it's clear that Eva is having illicit thoughts," said Lori Singer, vice president of global marketing for the brand at Coty Prestige.

So it's okay to publish kiddie porn style photographs of Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair, but isn't okay for Eva to have a private moment? I hope someone leaks these ads as I want to see.

Rehab Was For A Research?

If you remember, Eva Mendes checked into Utah's Cirque Lodge rehab facility in January, 08. But was it for all so she could search for a movie?

At the time, her rep issued the following statement to TMZ, "Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

She just landed the movie, Queen of the South, which is about about a woman called Teresa Mendoza who flees Mexico to go to Spain after her drug dealer boyfriend is murdered. While in Spain she looks to become a drug smuggler and get revenge for her boyfriends murder.

The movie also stars Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley.

Eva Mendes Goes Jogging

Eva Mendes was out jogging in the Hollywood Hills yesterday (May 21st), she is looking refreshed, after her whole rehab thing at the beginning of the year.

The 34 year old actress has a movie titled The Women coming out in September, it's about a New York woman finds out her husband is a cheating asshole so she leaves him and bonds with other society women at a resort. It's a remake of the 1939 film of the same name.

Meg Ryan, Debra Messing, Bette Midler, Carrie Fisher, Annette Bening and Jada Pinkett Smith all star. That's a whole lot of woman for JPS to handle.
