The former OC star brought along her younger sister Hattie to the premiere. Rachel recently said her mother knew when she had sex for the first time because she is a sex therapist.
She said, "She’s a counsellor who specialises in that area and let’s just say she’s very intuitive, ‘My mum’s very open. It's great." Rachel then continued on and said she is a bit of an environmentalist and drives a hybrid car.
On how she got the role in Jumper:
Doug Liman directed the pilot of a TV series I was on ['The O.C.'], so we met way back then and had a relationship. So he literally sent me a text message saying, "What are you doing?" I'm like, "I'm at my cousin's wedding in Tennessee ... What do you mean?" A week later he called me and asked me if I'd fly to Toronto and meet with him and Hayden. So it was very quick, and I jumped in kind of late.
On keeping in touch with her former OC castmates:
You know what? I haven't seen anyone since the wrap party. Well, Mischa [Barton] I actually ran into. But I don't keep in touch with anyone. I'd like to get together with Melinda Clarke and Kelly Rowan. We were all really close. I heard [Kelly] had a baby and I haven't even spoken to her! I need to send her an email.
On reading blogs:
I try not to [read them]. I think Perez Hilton has a lot of negative stuff -- more negative than positive, right? So I try not to focus on those things. I think he's funny. I've never met him. I don't really look at his site. Hopefully he doesn't give me a penis or anything like that.
The movie which stars Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson, Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Bell. It's about a man who can teleport himself anywhere in the world, but he soon learns people are out to kill him and other jumpers.
Bilson recently spoke about her upcoming fashion collection for DKNY Jeans, they are called Edie Rose. “I think there’s potential for it to be on-going, I'd definitely have an interest in continuing. We’ll see how it goes.”
Rachel is also going to be in the ad campaign, but don't worry she didn't sew the jeans herself, “I just had my first sewing lesson, my skirt came out 10 times too big, and it’s sort of a mess, but I did learn how to use a sewing machine. So I’m on my way.”
