Liv Tyler was at the Ed Sullivan Theatre for a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman. She was there to promote her new movie "The Strangers" which is out May 30th.
Liv recently spoke to Self magazine. Here is some of the things she talked about
On the perils of starring in action movies
[Tyler appears this summer in The Strangers and The Incredible Hulk. Both roles were pretty physical.]
I'm very fair and my skin is very sensitive and I bruise very easily. [During filming] I looked like an abuse victim. I have pictures that are insane: cuts, and I had a hematoma on my hand from trying to beat my way out of a glass window. Just one bruise and cut after the next. But they heal. It happens and it hurts and in your normal life, if something like that happened to you, you'd just be freaked out. But because I was an actress, I had to keep going!
On her healthy habit
I floss every day. My dad taught me to floss when I was really young. He was like, "Smell the floss" after I flossed. Ugh, it was the most disgusting thing! Seriously, if you try it, you'll never not floss again!
