Ellen Will Get Married

According to TMZ spys, Ellen DeGeneres and girlfriend since 2004, Portia de Rossi are going to get married. After California announced they plan to get rid of the ban on gay marriage Ellen made the announcement to the audience at the Ellen Show.

I'm not a huge fan of Ellen, in fact I cannot stand her. But congratulations to the couple. They always look happy together.

So who else is going to come out and get married now? T.R. Knight and his boyfriend? Ryan Seacrest and every American Idol guy?

Speaking to the Advocate, Ellen had this to say about the news: “I’m thrilled that the California supreme court overturned the ban on gay marriage. I can’t wait to get married. We all deserve the same rights, and I believe that someday we’ll look back on this and not allowing gays to marry will seem as absurd as not allowing women to vote. P.S.
